Sunlumo Move at the Linz Marathon: “Power in Unity” as a lived experience

The Linz Marathon became more than just an event for us. Whether it was the 5K, 10K, or half marathon—each distance had its own rhythm, its own challenges. And yet, we were united by one thing: the determination to cross the finish line together. It wasn’t just Sunlumo employees at the starting line, but also motivated customers and supporters. People with different backgrounds, experiences, and motivations didn’t just run side by side—they ran together. That’s exactly where the motto “Power in Unity” came to life.

Collective energy instead of individual perspectives

While training for the race was done individually, on race day, individual perspectives merged into a shared mindset.

People cheered each other on, had conversations, and supported one another through the tougher stretches. These moments were often small—but they were precisely what made the difference. It wasn’t about being faster than others, but about moving forward together and reaching the finish line.

The group’s openness was particularly valuable. External participants were fully integrated from the start—not as guests, but as part of the movement.

It was precisely the mix of Sunlumo employees and external participants that brought new energy to the group. Different perspectives, fresh ideas, and shared motivation demonstrated just how powerful an open system can be.

A Shared Goal, Shared Success

In the end, what counts is the moment at the finish line. And for everyone, it was the same: we did it.
