Note on the use of the Sigenergy Gateway HomePro-L:

In backup power operation, an independent protective measure from the public grid must be in effect. Since backup power generators generally cannot meet the conditions of the protective measure of grounding, the RCD (Residual Current Device) is typically used. The connection from the N conductor to the PE conductor is implemented in the gateway via relays in "off-grid operation." In "on-grid operation," this connection is not present in the gateway to prevent unwanted tripping of the RCD.
